fall in the sierras

October 2017

With Fall in full swing, I was in search for a taste of those colors that I was used to seeing back home in the Appalachians. The forests of the Western coast of the United States are primarily evergreen trees, while the East coast is home to more deciduous trees. A weekend in the Sierras provided some colors and crisper temperatures to remind me that seasons do exist. Most of these photos were shot in Hope Valley, California, nestled between Yosemite and Lake Tahoe.
